Final Outpost Press Kit
Final Outpost is a simulation game in which you must build a new civilization in the aftermath of an apocalypse.
The player's task of running their new outpost is threefold; Managing their citizens, using resources to expand their outpost, and protecting their citizens from both starvation and the dead.
The main aspects that the player has control of:
• Construction of new buildings
• Maintenance of resource stockpiles, including wood, metal scraps and food
• Training of citizens into various job roles
• Defense of the outpost with snipers and guards
• Crafting of equipment and weapons used to defend and maintain the outpost
Improve your base over time to shelter your citizens from the outside world, and stockpile resources to save as many lives as possible.
Lead your citizens into a new age of prosperity by assigning them the right jobs, including farmers and guards.
Give your citizens the tools they need to survive. Build a workshop to unlock advanced crafting and create weaponry to fend off the dead.
Combat famine and the dead by perfecting your long-term strategic balance of management, research, building and crafting.
The game is regularly updated with new content, features and improvements. There is a growing community on the Discord server and subreddit associated with Final Outpost.
Free to download on iPhone and iPad. There are optional in-app purchases that, unlike zombies, do not intrude on the game itself.
Final Outpost was made available for pre-order on 26th January 2020 and was released on the App Store on 28th February 2020. After two months, the game had been downloaded over 100,000 times.
Available in all territories supported on the App Store. Currently localized in English. Other languages are planned for translation, including French, German, Italian, Indonesian, Russian, Lithuanian, Chinese (traditional + simplified), Bulgarian and Romanian.

Final Outpost was solely created and developed by Sam Clothier. Sam is a 20 year-old UCL student who has been developing the game since June 2018. As a long-time gamer, he wanted to make a game that mashed together aspects from genres he has always enjoyed. His younger brother, Ben, designed the game's graphics.
